Café, which is also spoken by hands

It is a non-traditional, practical single project of this kind in Slovakia . The first café in Europe with a similar intention was opened about two years ago in Pilsen and its founders are looking forward to its successful operation. This project was also inspired by the inexperienced owner of the Prievidza Café Lucia Škultétyova .

Through monitors, they order and learn

The café, which is a protected workshop , is also untraditional for the form of a ticket through an interactive flat touch monitor . Through the screen, visitors can gradually become acquainted with the slogan . The goal of the project is to bring the silent and loud world closer , which is nowadays remote. Initiating visitors can gradually and sensitively learn how to communicate with the hearing impaired. At the same time, they will have a better chance of knowing what can contribute to greater tolerance and connivance in other encounters with people with this disability.

The project was created thanks to the support of the Telekom Endowment Fund, Pontis Foundation, which has long been specializing in helping people who do not. Lucia's implacable owner first attended a training course for deaf people to start a business. It was a follow-up to the possibility to raise funds for our own project in the grant round. We are looking for another sense.

Luckin's project is not just about her, but also about the opportunity for other hearing impaired people to try to be a waiter in a sheltered workshop, which they can not usually try.

At present, the café has been expanded to include a BON-BON confectionary offering - handmade Dutch chocolate truffles, hot chocolate, praline bouquets, and various gift packs.
