At the foot of the Strážovské vrchy and Váh River valley, the Opatovská Valley with a natural swimming pool and recreational facilities is located in the recreational area of ​​the Trenčín suburban recreation area. Its advantageous location makes it possible to use it all year round .

The Opatovska cottage was built in 1961 by employees of the state enterprise Merina. The lodges were completed a year later.

Sport and leisure activities

There is the possibility to play mini football , beach volleyball , table tennis , table football . For children, there is a swing and a trampoline . The resort offers bonfire, dams and natural lake (water from the borehole) with the ability to swim. Nearby there are hiking trails , meadows with the possibility of collecting healing herbs and forests suitable for mushroom picking.
