In the beautiful part of Moravia, where the mountain range joins Czechs and Slovaks, lies the Kohútka Hill. It offers a view of the picturesque panorama of the Vsetín Hills and the Moravian Beskydy Mountains.

Kohútka is a cross-country skiing trail, which will take you along the ridges of Javorníky and will surprise you with the view of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, the Jeseníky Mountains, the Martinské hole and Kysuce Mountains. Kohutka is a crossroads leading to the paths from Bohemia and Slovakia. Where the Slovakian and Moravan are spoiled.

SPORT AND RELAX

Ski Center Kohútka attracts you with many slopes for skilful and less able skiers. The only ski area in the Zlín region has a four-seat chairlift.

The total length of the slopes is 6610m and their maximum elevation is 210m. The longest track "Round" is 1300m long and has medium terrain. For the demanding ones, the "Great" is prepared with a slope length of 850m and an average slope of 30%, which is the best slope in Bohemia. The Noham recreational ski is sure to please "Babská" 1200m. The smallest visitors to the resort will experience fun moments in a children's skipper. For Nordic ski lovers, cross-country trails along Javorník ridges, the Papajský sedl and the Kohútka circuit are prepared. Beginners' skis will be trained by ski instructors at the ski school or school. There is also a ski rental service and a skibus which is primarily intended for downhill skiers.

In the summer, tourists can choose from the routes to Portáš, Malý and Veľký Javorník, Kasárna or Pustevny. Adventures of mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming and fishing will also come to your mind.

After exhausting sports activities, you can relax your strength in the Kohútka Mountains by relaxing in the sauna, solarium or the pool. In the local restaurant, you can taste your taste buds with fantastic domestic plum brandy, which the gruesome "carnivore" does not resist.

CROWN AT THE COAST - BRATSTVA SYMBOL

LARGE JAVORNIK

It is the highest peak of Javornik. It lies close to the Slovak-Czech state border on the Slovak side of the mountain. On the northeast slope of Veľký Javorník is the oldest nature reserve in Kysucia, Veľký Javorník, protecting the communities of a forestlike character.

SMALL JAVORNIK

Little Javorník, called Chotárna, is the highest hill on the Czech part of the Javorník ridge. On the southern slopes there is the Adamkov Nature Reserve, protecting the original forest communities.
